Bill Beagle is committed to helping Miami County stay the strong and vibrant community that we’re all proud to call home.
As a member of the Ohio Senate for the past 7 years, Bill represents the people of Miami, Darke, Montgomery and Preble Counties at the Statehouse. Prior to being elected State Senator, Bill served as President of Tipp City Council and was active in the community as a member of Tipp-Monroe Community Services, the Tipp City Planning Board and the Tipp City Public Library Board of Trustees.
With his experience as a small business owner, Bill quickly became a leader in Columbus on workforce and economic development issues. He represents the Ohio Senate on the Governor’s Executive Workforce Board and on the Ohio Third Frontier Advisory Board. Additionally, Bill has authored and supported laws that continue to help Ohio’s employers find the skilled workers they need, protect Ohio’s children and conservatively manage our tax dollars.
Senator Beagle has won numerous awards for his legislative work from groups such as the Ohio Library Council, The Ohio Adoption Planning Group, Venture Ohio, American Conservative Union, Greater Ohio Policy Center, the Governor’s Council on People with Disabilities, Ohio Council of Smaller Enterprises, Farm Bureau, The Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and Ohio Practitioners Network for Fathers and Families.
Senator Beagle received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University and earned an MBA from Cleveland State University. He and his wife Karen live in Tipp City and have three children.
