Bill Beagle Proudly Announces Broad-Based Support in Miami County

State Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) today announced strong support from his home county in his bid to become the next Congressman from Ohio’s 8th District. Public servants, business owners and Republican leaders from across Miami County are rallying around Bill Beagle as the proven conservative in this race with the fortitude needed to challenge the status quo and get our country back on track.

“As a member of the State Senate, Bill Beagle has played a critical role in the economic turnaround we’ve experienced here in Miami County and across the state,” said State Representative Steve Huffman. “While I will miss my partner in the General Assembly, I know that our country needs Bill Beagle’s leadership in Washington now more than ever.”

“When it comes down to it, I am a firm believer that results matter and I’ve seen firsthand the good work that Bill Beagle has done on our behalf,” said Miami County Commissioner Jack Evans. “There is not a doubt in my mind that he is the best choice to serve as our next Congressman and my mission between now and March 15th is making sure that Miami County does our part to get Bill across the finish line.”

“I’m supporting Bill Beagle for Congress because his proven track record of success in both the private and public sectors far exceeds that of any other candidate in this race,” said Dan French, Chairman of the Board and President of French Oil. “Bill has a wealth of experience and firsthand knowledge of how to navigate government and ensure that it is working with, and not against, our local businesses.”

“Bill Beagle has been an outstanding advocate for the people of Miami County,” said Alan Clark, retired Troy City Councilman and 27-year veteran of the Troy Police Department. “He is well-regarded across our community as a dedicated public servant who always puts the best interests of his constituents first. I believe that we need more of that kind of selfless leadership in Washington and I know that the people of Miami County will benefit greatly by having Bill Beagle in Congress.”

“I am so thankful to receive the backing of my fellow public servants, friends, neighbors and colleagues here in Miami County,” said Bill Beagle. “It was the strong support of my home county that helped me oust our Democrat incumbent State Senator back in 2010 – a seat that had not seen Republican control in over 30 years – and together, I know we can beat the odds again!”

Bill Beagle and his family have called Miami County home for over 25 years. Before being elected to the Ohio Senate in 2010, Bill Beagle served on Tipp City Council from 2003-2009. He and his wife, Karen, are both owners of small businesses located in Miami County and are active in numerous clubs and organizations.
