TIPP CITY – State Senator Bill Beagle (R–Tipp City) today announced a leadership team of Clark County based job creators who have endorsed his candidacy to serve as the next Congressman from Ohio’s 8th District.
John Maurer, the Chief Operations Officer of Esterline and Sons, Jim Lagos, the President of James H. Lagos Company, Inc. and Dan Young, the CEO and Chief Ice Cream Dipper of Young’s Jersey Dairy have endorsed Beagle for Congress and will spearhead “Bill Beagle’s Business Leaders,” a coalition of job creators across the 8th Congressional District who support Beagle’s mission to get government out of the way so that the private sector can grow our economy in Western and Southwestern Ohio.
“Bill Beagle is already a proven leader for Ohio’s economy and we need his kind of thinking in Washington now more than ever to knock down barriers to the success of American businesses and workers,” said John Maurer
“Bill Beagle is a successful businessman in his own right who has spent years in the private sector growing his own small business,” said Jim Lagos. “If Ohioans are truly ready to rebuild the promise of the American Dream for future generations, we need to put people with real-world business experience in Washington.”
“As business owners, we know firsthand the damage that is caused by government over-regulation and red tape. I know Bill Beagle has the knowledge and understanding needed to help attract and grow Ohio companies to be leaders in the United States and around the world,” said Dan Young.
“I am so honored to have earned the support of this group of people who understand our how business works and know what needs to be done in order to take real steps toward revitalizing our economy for the long term,” said Senator Beagle. “For too long, bloated bureaucracy and big government have ruled the day in our nation’s capital as President Obama and Democrats in Congress have abandoned the conservative principles that made the American economy the envy of the world.”
Bill Beagle worked for over 20 years in the private sector as a senior financial analyst, an operations manager and in customer service. An entrepreneur, Bill started his own real-estate business in 2002 – a business he continues to successfully grow today. In the Ohio Senate, Bill Beagle has been a leader in establishing a more business-friendly environment for employers and job seekers in the Buckeye State.
